Business Partner, Organizational Development
Airport(s): Port Columbus Airport,
Location: Port Columbus International Airport
Hours: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Supervisor: Manager, Organizational Development

The Columbus Regional Airport Authority is searching for an energetic, detail orientated person to join our People Services Division as a Business Partner, Organizational Development. The Business Partner is responsible for creating a positive learning environment by developing, delivering and implementing effective instructional courses to enable learners to be successful. The individual will work cross-functionally and collaborate with various business partners to determine training needs and design the best solution to achieve the expressed needs.

• Designs and delivers interactive training in a variety of formats (e.g., classroom, team/group facilitation, one-on-one coaching, e-learning and/or Train-the Trainer) sessions that incorporate the philosophies of the adult learning to ensure knowledge transfer in a broad range of training topics, (individual performer and management development) skills and knowledge.
• Acts in a consultant role with internal departments by assisting with developing training.
• Assists in the development of training goals for both individuals and units.
• Designs, develops, and maintains training documentation including: training manuals, user guides and other job aids and educational materials.
• Analyzes training needs to develop new training programs or modify and improve existing programs.
• Assists in the analysis of training needs and formulates, develops, and communicates new training initiatives.
• Maintaining registrations and information database.
• Coordinates, monitors, and documents training efforts of other business units throughout the organization.
• Develops, monitors, and reports on training program evaluation metrics.
• Sources, prepares the scope and monitors training vendor compliance.
• All other duties and special projects as assigned.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, Instructional Design, Education or similar field or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
• 5-7 years of directly related experience in an organizational development function with a focus on course design, program evaluation, and facilitation.
• A high energy, self-starter attitude that takes initiative and follows through.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access). Some expertise in SharePoint is desirable.
• General understanding of e-learning course design and implementation strategies.
• Proven project management skills to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced, ever changing and evolving work environment with shifting time frames.

• Relentless attention to detail with successful project management and prioritization skills.

• Creative with business savvy and the ability to respond quickly to ever changing conditions.
